Fiber One Yogurt Friend Face-off! @ Feed Your Pig **contest**

How fat and healthy is your pig today reader? My pig and my health knowledge bank got a tad fatter this week when I was contacted by the great people at Fiber One. Fiber One wants to share information with Feed Your Pig readers about fiber, healthy amounts of fiber, and different Fiber One products that can help you stay on track!

I know, fiber sounds B-O-R-I-N-G! Fiber One has developed a fun, interactive learning experience on their website called the Fiber One Yogurt Fiber Friend Face-off! The first thing you do when you enter the Face-off website is create your own avatar to play with. You can choose male/female, hair, glasses, even the nose! I enjoyed being able to do that. Who doesn't want to create a character that looks like them?

Anyhow, on to the real fun. After creating you avatar and signing up with your name address, phone number, etc. it's on to the game. Why do you need to enter you information just to play, you ask? To feed your pig silly! Everyone that participates in the Fiber One Yogurt Fiber Friend Face-off is entered to win several prizes including cash gift cards, Flip Video cameras, and the grand prize of a trip to Arizona! If you don't win (or if you do), you can still feed your pig by downloading one of the many Fiber One product coupons on the site for your next grocery trip. Using coupons is a great way to try new products you might not have otherwise tried. (maybe if you learn you need more fiber...)

The game then goes on to ask you to pick 5 items that add up to the daily requirement of 25 grams of fiber a day. Did you know you were supposed to have that much fiber everyday? I certainly did not. I choose not so well and only ended up with 20.5 grams. OK for a first try I guess. I won't ruin the fun of the game for you. For sure go check out yourself. I loved the site. Very colorful and fun. Would I have wanted to learn about fiber any other way? For sure, I wouldn't have bothered. I think it's an added bonus for consumers and Fiber One to add the coupons also. There is a new coupon added each week along with a new "quiz" and a new chance to win prizes!
