On my journey around the net to find some information I came across The IonicSalts Company! They sell salt lamps, bath salts, and edible salts among other things! I was excited to communicate with them as I have seen salt lamps in stores in the mall and heard that they help with depression symptoms. White Salt Lamp

The lamp pictured above was sent to me by IonicSalts to try out. It is a White Salt Lamp, hence it’s white color! It sits on a very nice wood base and has a small hole hollow out in the middle for the bulb! I was also sent colored bulbs, which look very pretty in the white lamp! I have blue, red, green, and clear! I have found that I love the blue the best, but on to the actual experience!

I have been using the lamp for 4 weeks now and I love it. I placed it in my bedroom since I spend the majority of the time there. It is beautiful, functional, and healthy. I can say without a doubt that my allergy symptoms of moderate congestion and sinus pressure have been reduced significantly. I would say at least by 70%. I have only taken an OTC sinus/allergy medication 3 times in the past month which is a major drop from taking it every few days!

The lamp is awesome to look at and serves as a great nightlight.One thing that sets the lamps made by IonicSalts apart from other company’s lamps that I looked at is the dimmer switch that is included in all their lamps! Because you need to keep your lamp on all the time (or as much as possible) to get the maximum value of the negative ions, having the dimmer switch is an invaluable feature. IonicSalts was also sent me a package of Himalayan Bath Salts made from the same mined salt as the lamps! The bath salt is going to have the health benefit of detoxifying your body as you relax in the bath! You simply put the salt in the water and let it dissolve! It can also help with skin conditions like rashes, acne, etc as it pulls dirt and toxic substances out of your skin. I have been using the salts in my bath water and my skin is softer! My husband and I also used the salt to soak our feet after exercises and my husband has noticed that his feet are softer and less callous! Another nice thing about the salts is that they are packaged nicely and could easily be given as a nice gift!
